Jasper von Kempen is a very handsome 3-4 year old plush coated German Shepherd with a beautiful silver and black coat.  Jasper reminds us of a big stuffed animal - not only does he have a fluffy coat, but he is a softie on the inside. This darling and extra sweet boy has an easygoing, medium-energy personality and is happiest when he's with people or other dogs. He walks great on a leash, starting his strolls excited and happy, and he absolutely loves meeting new people along the way, often stopping because he wants to be petted. He is very friendly with other dogs as well, meeting them with a happily wagging tail and walking nicely alongside them. In playgroups, Jasper does fantastic; he enters comfortably, greets his canine friends gently, and is ready to explore. He is such an affectionate, social boy that he even played nicely when another dog invited him to play, with a gentle play style. He is eager to please, knows his "sit" command, and is highly treat-motivated. He isn't for a home with cats, but we think he would make a great family dog, or could do well in many situations.
